ProA top team - Crailsheim Merlins (13-1) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked White Wings (6-8) in Hanau 82-78. Jamaican-American power forward Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) notched 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Chase Griffin (190-83, college: Pepperdine) supported him with 19 points. Crailsheim Merlins' coach Tuomas Iisalo used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by American center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) did not help to save the game for White Wings. Point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (193-92) added 12 points and 9 assists for the hosts. Five White Wings players scored in double figures. Crailsheim Merlins have an impressive 11-game winning streak.
