No shocking result in a game when third ranked Aschersleben (8-4) beat 8th ranked Goetting.ASC (6-6) in Goettingen 97-86 on Sunday. The game without a history. Aschersleben led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Croatian power forward Dino Erceg (203-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Sebastian Harke (204-81) contributed with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Aschersleben players scored in double figures. Aschersleben maintains third position in North with 8-4 record having nine points less than leader Grevenbroich, which they share with Rendsburg and Vechta II. Newly promoted Goetting.ASC dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. Aschersleben will face Weser Bsk/BTS (#12) in Neustadt in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
