International power forward Maksim Sandul (207-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) helped adding 14 points and 7 rebounds. Budivelnyk's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was international power forward Viacheslav Petrov (204-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) with 6 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Sergiy Pavlov (203-97) scored 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Khimik at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Budivelnyk will play against bottom-ranked Zaporizhye (#8) in Zaporozhye in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Khimik will play on the road against Politekhnik in Kharkiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
