The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Balkan 2's (2-9) road loss to fifth ranked CSKA (4-8) 53-74 on Wednesday. CSKA looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Swingman Ivaylo Tonev (198-99) stepped up and scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and forward Georgi Kenderov (196-99) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four CSKA players scored in double figures. Coach Jordan Kolev's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side Aleksandar Iliev (196-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Rumen Vasilev (205-96) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds.
