Regular Season Round 15: Trier - Baunach 85-60

Very predictable result in Trier where tenth ranked Gladiators (7-8) smashed bottom-ranked Baunach (1-14) 85-60. Gladiators dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Baunach's 38 and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Gladiators forced 22 Baunach turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Baunach's players. It was a good game for naturalized Canadian power forward Robert Nortmann (204-87, college: Dalhousie) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Gladiators' next round opponent will be league's leader Crailsheim Merlins at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Baunach will play against Chemnitz (#11) and hope to win that game.
