No shocking result in a game in Valjevo where fourth ranked Metalac (9-4) smashed 9th ranked OKK Beograd (6-7) 94-71 on Saturday. Guard Aleksandar Vasic (185-87) fired 18 points and 9 assists for the winners. Guard Bojan Krstovic (194-80, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 23 points. Four Metalac players scored in double figures. Center Nikola Vujovic (210-93) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and Slobodan Jovanovic (193-97) added 18 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Metalac moved-up to third place, which they share with Vrsac. Loser OKK Beograd dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Metalac will face Zlatibor (#10) in Cajetina in the next round and are hoping to win another game. OKK Beograd will play on the road against Spartak in Subotica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
