Regular Season Round 11: Dinamo - Hoverla 94-85

The game between Top Four teams took place in Odessa. First ranked host Dinamo (10-1) defeated second-ranked Hoverla (8-2) 94-85. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hoverla. The game without a history. Dinamo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Rostyslav Kryvych (197-78) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 5 assists. American forward Abiodun Adegoke (203-91, college: Midwestern St.) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Dinamo's coach Gennadiy Kuznetsov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-89) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and forward Yevgen Koroviyakov (199-88) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Dinamo and four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Dinamo maintains first place with 10-1 record. Loser Hoverla keeps the second position with two games lost. Dinamo will face again league's second-placed Hoverla in Ivano-Frankivsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
