Rather expected game in Izmir where 11th ranked Edirne (6-9) was defeated by eighth ranked Urla BLD (9-6) 67-58 on Friday. Urla BLD made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while Edirne only scored seven points from the stripe. Urla BLD forced 21 Edirne turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American center Cierra Robertson-Warren (193-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Ayse Akinci (175-82, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) helped adding 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Four Urla BLD players scored in double figures.
