Regular Season Round 15: Bodrum - Yalova Vip 72-36

TKBL top team - Bodrum (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventeenth ranked Yalova Vip (2-12) 72-36. Bodrum forced 21 Yalova Vip turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a quality performance for forward Harika Eldas (182-90, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 6 assists. American center Sasha Goodlett (195-90, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Corinne Costa (193-92, college: UCLA) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and forward Banu Yillar (172-78) added 6 points respectively for Yalova Vip in the defeat. Yalova Vip's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bodrum maintains first place with 13-1 record. Yalova Vip at the other side keeps the seventeenth position with 12 games lost. Bodrum will play against league's second-placed Mersin MBK on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yalova Vip will play against Istanbulgucu (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
