Regular Season Round 24: KTU - Delikatesas 77-75

Bottom-ranked KTU managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time they edged thirteenth-ranked Delikatesas in Kaunas 77-75. The winners were led by Matas Ragauskas (192-96) who scored that evening 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Karolis Kokoska (194-92) supported him with 10 points and 8 rebounds. KTU's coach Vytautas Pliauga allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 26 points by swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) did not help to save the game for Delikatesas. Forward Rytis Biliartas (202-91) added 21 points and 8 rebounds. KTU maintains fourteenth position with 5-19 record. Delikatesas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Palanga. KTU will play against higher ranked Taurages (#8) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Delikatesas will play against the league's second-placed Suduva-Mantinga (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
