Regular Season Round 16: Turk Telekom - TED Kolejliler 92-81

TBL top team - Turk Telekom (15-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked TED Kolejliler (5-11) in Ankara 92-81. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Point guard TJ Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) added 20 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Five Turk Telekom and four TED Kolejliler players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turk Telekom maintains first position with 15-1 record. TED Kolejliler lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 11 games lost. Turk Telekom will meet Istanbulspor (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TED Kolejliler will play against Antalyaspor and hope to secure a win.
