Very expected game in Istanbul where 11th ranked Adana ASKI (2-9) was defeated by third ranked Yakin Dogu (11-1) 84-69. Yakin Dogu dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Adana ASKI's 36. They outrebounded Adana ASKI 47-35 including 36 on the defensive glass. Yakin Dogu players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds.
