Regular Season Round 24: Jonava - Perlas 68-81

An interesting game took place in Jonava where higher ranked Jonava (12-12) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Perlas (9-15) 81-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jonava. It was a great shooting night for Perlas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. It was a good game for forward Arnas Berucka (195-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Forward Deividas Sirvydis (200-0) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Perlas players scored in double figures. Point guard Lukas Grabauskas (192-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Jonava. Jonava's coach Nerijus Zabarauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Perlas maintains eleventh position with 9-15 record. Jonava at the other side keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost. Perlas' next round opponent will be higher ranked Zalgiris II (#6) in Kaunas and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
