Regular Season Round 12: Bakken - Wolfpack/BMS 111-81

Very expected game when 7th ranked BMS Skovlunde (2-11) was smashed by third ranked Bakken (8-2) in Risskov 111-81. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. BMS Skovlunde was better in third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bakken shot 21 for 28 from the free-throw line, while BMS Skovlunde only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded BMS Skovlunde 50-30 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bakken players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by BMS Skovlunde's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (201-89, college: Texas St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Coach Steffen Wich's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and guard Oliver Stroeh (192-94, college: Shippensburg) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Bakken have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. BMS Skovlunde lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Bakken will play against league's leader Horsens IC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BMS Skovlunde will have a break next round.
