Bottom-ranked UBSC Graz is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 15th consecutive match to sixth ranked Vienna (8-7) 80-77. Vienna forced 22 UBSC Graz turnovers. Strangely UBSC Graz outrebounded Vienna 42-26 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Czech center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, college: Iowa St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) who added 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side American center Darien Nelson-Henry (211-94, college: Pennsylvania) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and French forward Matt Gamberoni (208-91, college: Trevecca Naz.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Vienna and four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Vienna have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. UBSC Graz at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Vienna will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. UBSC Graz will play at home against Arkadia Lions (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
