Regular Season Round 11: Beroe - Haskovo 2012 80-69

There was a change at the NBL leadership position after last games. Round 11 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Haskovo 2012 (6-1). They were defeated by second ranked Beroe (7-1) 80-69 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Haskovo 2012. It was a key game for the top position in East. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 32-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for international swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) who led her team to a victory scoring 31 points and 6 rebounds. International center Gabriela Kostova (190-94) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Beroe's coach Tatyana Gateva used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international power forward Milena Tomova (187-82, college: FIU) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international guard Zornitsa Kostova (176-82) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Beroe have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of East leader. Defending champion Haskovo 2012 dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Montana.
