TBL top team - Turk Telekom (16-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Istanbulspor (6-11) 74-65. Istanbulspor was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Ender Arslan (190-83) accounted for 16 points and 7 assists. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. American forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Tyrone Brazelton (184-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Istanbulspor in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turk Telekom have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 16-1 record.
