Very important is a road loss of second ranked Tofas (11-3) against fourteenth ranked Trabzonspor (4-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Tofas was defeated by Trabzonspor in a tough game in Trabzon 83-91. Trabzonspor players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Tofas was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 7 assists. The other American import Caleb Green (203-85, college: ORU) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. American point guard Pierria Henry (193-93, college: Charlotte) replied with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international point guard Baris Ermis (194-85) added 22 points and 4 steals (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Tofas. Tofas' coach Orhun Ene rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Trabzonspor maintains fourteenth position with 4-10 record. Tofas at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. Trabzonspor will play against bottom-ranked Usak Sportlif (#16) on the road in the next round. Tofas will play against Yesilgiresun Bld (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
