There was a small surprise when seventeenth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (3-13) beat at home 15th ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (4-13) 80-74 on Saturday. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Oettinger Rockets Gotha was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jordan Hulls (180-90, college: Indiana) who scored 23 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
