Important game to mention about took place in Porto. Sixth ranked Vasco (5-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Dragon Force (5-6) 58-55 in the game for the fifth place. It was an exceptional evening for guard Ivo Coutinho (186-95) who led the winners and scored 21 points. Forward Paulo Vieira (192-94) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Vasco's coach Manuel Romao allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Vladyslav Voytso (200-99) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Agenor Rolo (193-95) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Dragon Force in the defeat. Vasco moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with defeated Dragon Force. Vasco will play against Beira Mar (#8) in Aveiro in the next round. Dragon Force will play at home against Sampaense and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
