Regular Season Round 11: Imortal - Angra 83-56

Proliga top team - Imortal (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Angrabasket (3-8) in Albufeira 83-56. It was a great evening for Cape Verdean point guard Shane DaRosa (183, college: Bristol CC) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!) (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Power forward Rafael Wildner (207-92) helped adding 9 points and 15 rebounds. Imortal's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Forward Carlos Dias (198-80) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ricardo Mendes (181-90) scored 13 points. Imortal have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Newly promoted Imortal maintains first place in South with 11-0 record. Loser Angrabasket keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Imortal will face Estoril Basket (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Angrabasket will play against Benfica B in Lisbona and hope to win that game.
