Regular Season Round 26: Neptunas-Akv. - Delikatesas 77-74

Thirteenth-ranked Delikatesas (6-20) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (17-9) in Klaipeda. Neptunas-Akv. managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected much easier game. Neptunas-Akv. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Arunas Mikalauskas (202-97, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Valdas Vasylius (203-83, college: ODU) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Mindaugas Reminas (187-86) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 17-9 record. Delikatesas lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 20 games lost.
