Regular Season Round 15: Rostock - Stahnsdorf 94-63

Date: January 7, 2018
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Rostock (9-6) smashed at home 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (3-12) 94-63 on Sunday. Rostock looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Talbert (198-91, college: Missouri So.) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American Chris Frazier (182-90, college: Dubuque, agency: Athleadz) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Mike Holton-Jr (185-90, college: St.Michael's) who recorded 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rostock have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser RSV Eintracht keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Rostock will face Artland Dragons (#3) in Quakenbrueck in the next round, which may be the game of the day. RSV Eintracht will play at home against the league's second-placed SSV Lok Bernau (#2) and hope to win that game.
