Leader Fenerbahce delivered the twelfth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Sakarya BSB (8-6) 89-75 in Istanbul. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sakarya BSB. Fenerbahce shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. American power forward Jason Thompson (211-86, college: Rider) notched 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) supported him with 10 points and 7 assists. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 4 assists by American CJ Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Sakarya BSB. Point guard Can Korkmaz (187-92, agency: BeoBasket) added 14 points for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fenerbahce (12-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Newly promoted Sakarya BSB keeps the sixth place with six games lost.
