The best player for the winners was American power forward Julian Gamble (208-89, college: Miami, FL) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (203-92, college: Georgia) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Telekom Baskets' coach Predrag Krunic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard A.J. English (192-92, college: Iona) produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and New Zealand guard Tai-Jack Webster (193-95, college: Nebraska) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. Telekom Baskets moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Brose Bask. Loser Deutsche Bank Skyliners dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Telekom Baskets will face bottom-ranked Walter Tigers (#18) in Tuebingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will play at home against Giessen 46ers (#11) and hope to win that game.
