Regular Season Round 15: Kronberg - Kaiserslautern 87-77

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Kronberg (5-9) won against at home higher ranked Kaiserslautern (7-7) 87-77 on Sunday. Kronberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Noah Litzbach (195-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds. Center Julian Reinwald (209) helped adding 15 points and 12 rebounds. Kronberg's coach Milo Crnjac allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward John Barber (200-85, college: Youngstown St.) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ronny Weihmann (186-82, college: Emmanuel, GA) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Kaiserslautern players scored in double figures. Kronberg moved-up to tenth place in South-West, which they share with Crailsheim II. Loser Kaiserslautern keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked Fellbach (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
