Regular Season Round 13: Ch.Mavpy 2 - Kharkivski Sokoly 47-73

Bottom-ranked Ch.Mavpy 2 is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 14th consecutive match to sixth ranked Kharkivski Sokoly (6-8) 73-47. The game was mostly controlled by Kharkivski Sokoly. Ch.Mavpy 2 was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kharkivski Sokoly forced 23 Ch.Mavpy 2 turnovers. Guard Sergiy Olkhovikov (187-91) fired 17 points for the winners. Forward Andrii Shalamov (202-96) chipped in 9 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Yuriy Romanovskyy (192-1) produced 10 points and Denys Nevzhytsky added 9 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kharkivski Sokoly have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Kharkivski Sokoly maintains sixth place with 6-8 record. Ch.Mavpy 2 at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
