The game in Ukmerge was also quite interesting. 4th placed Fortuna (6-8) played at the court of sixth ranked Vilkmerge (4-10). Vilkmerge managed to secure a 5-point victory 54-49 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Forward Martyna Petrenaite (181-98) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and guard Rita Zilinskaite (175-92) accounted for 5 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Sandra Baliutaviciute (182-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and Agne Cerneckyte (173-96) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Fortuna in the defeat. Vilkmerge maintains sixth place with 4-10 record. Fortuna lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Aistes-LSU. Vilkmerge will meet league's second-placed Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fortuna will play against Aistes-LSU and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
