An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Istanbul. Second ranked Yakin Dogu faced one of their biggest challengers Botas. Host Yakin Dogu (13-1) defeated guests from Adana (8-6) 85-81. Yakin Dogu looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Hungarian-American point guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Kayla McBride (180-92, college: Notre Dame) chipped in 17 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American center Kiah Stokes (190-93, college: Connecticut) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Chelsea Gray (180-92, college: Duke) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Yakin Dogu and five Botas players scored in double figures. Yakin Dogu have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce. Loser Botas still keeps top place with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Yakin Dogu will meet league's leader Cukurova in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Botas will play against Hatay and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
