Regular Season Round 13: Lusitania - Illiabum 95-97

A very interesting game took place in Angra. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 10th ranked Lusitania (5-9) to sixth ranked Illiabum (8-7) 97-95 on Saturday evening. Serbian guard Filip Simic (185-90) fired 29 points and 9 assists for the winners. The former international Augusto Sobrinho (188-85) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Timajh Parker-Rivera (202-94, college: Towson) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import swingman Dominique Coleman (198-88, college: Francis Marion) added 25 points respectively for lost side. Five Illiabum and four Lusitania players scored in double figures. Illiabum moved-up to fifth place. Lusitania lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Illiabum's next round opponent will be Ovarense (#8) at home. Lusitania will play against Vitoria SC in Guimaraes and hope to win that game.
