Regular Season Round 15: Parklji - Plama Pur 55-70

Another exciting game was played in Bezigrad between seventh ranked Plama Pur and 4th placed Parklji where Plama Pur (7-7) won against Parklji (9-5) on the road with 15-point difference 70-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Parklji. Parklji was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 40-22 second half run of Plama Pur. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Parklji to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Parklji's 28. They outrebounded Parklji 45-31 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Plama Pur players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Sinisa Milicevic (-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Plama Pur players scored in double figures. Milan Kovacevic (200-96) answered with 15 points and guard Adrian Hirschmann (189-0) added 16 points and 4 steals in the effort for Parklji. Parklji's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Plama Pur have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Celje. Parklji at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with LTH Castings. Plama Pur will play against Portoroz (#8) at home in the next round. Parklji will play against Konjice (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
