There was no surprise when 10th ranked Dorsten (3-14) was crushed on the road by first ranked Grevenbroich (16-1) 100-47 on Saturday. Grevenbroich dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Dorsten's 32. They outrebounded Dorsten 42-22 including a 32-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Grevenbroich shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. American guard Gerrell Martin (190-93, college: LIU Brooklyn) fired 23 points for the winners. Power forward Lennard Joerdell (207-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Grevenbroich players scored in double figures. Coach Hartmut Oehmen's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American forward Salathiel Ligons (201-84) produced 11 points and 9 rebounds and Lithuanian swingman Lukas Kazlauskas (188-92) added 9 points respectively for lost side.
