The game in Pasvalys supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Lietuvos rytas (15-4) played at the court of 7th ranked P.Zvaigzdes (6-13). Lietuvos rytas smashed P.Zvaigzdes 93-65. The game was mostly controlled by Lietuvos rytas. P.Zvaigzdes was better in fourth quarter 28-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. At the losing side Kosovan center Lis Shoshi (211-94, college: Howard Col., TX) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Latvian guard Arturs Ausejs (192-90) scored 7 points and 6 assists. Lietuvos rytas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-4 record having just two points less than leader Zalgiris. P.Zvaigzdes lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Dzukija. Lietuvos rytas will play against Lietkabelis (#4) in Panevezys in the next round. P.Zvaigzdes will play on the road against Vytautas in Prienai and hopes to get back on the winning track.
