Liga Nova KBM top team - KK Primorska (10-3) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Sencur Gor. (7-6) in Kranj 81-77. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-12. But Sencur Gor. won second period 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four KK Primorska players scored in double figures. KK Primorska's coach Jurica Golemac used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Dino Muric (200-90) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian forward Ramo Rizvic (200-87) added 25 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. KK Primorska have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-3 record. Sencur Gor. at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Helios and Krka. KK Primorska will meet at home Olimpija (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sencur Gor. will play against Tajfun in Sentjur and hope to secure a win.
