It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Giessen 46ers II. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Donte Nicholas (196-87, college: Fresno Pacific) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Russian forward Nikita Khartchenkov (200-87) who added 19 points during the contest. Four Iserlohn players scored in double figures. Iserlohn's coach Dragan Torbica allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Jeril Taylor (193-94, college: S.Indiana) responded with 31 points and the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Iserlohn moved-up to second place in South, which they share with Dragons. Newly promoted Giessen 46ers II keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Iserlohn will play against Bayer Giants (#8) in Leverkusen in the next round where they are favorite. Giessen 46ers II will play at home against the league's leader Elchingen (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
