Regular Season Round 16: Plama Pur - Portoroz 70-72

A very interesting game took place in Ilirska Bistrica. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Plama Pur (7-8) to ninth ranked Portoroz (6-8) 72-70 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Plama Pur. The guests were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-8 Plama Pur's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 72-70 at the end of the game. Power forward Adin Kavgic (195-87) fired 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Luka Rozanc (190-97) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Portoroz's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Tilen Zalar (189-87) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Portoroz moved-up to seventh place. Plama Pur at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Portoroz's next round opponent will be Konjice (#11) at home.
