Undefeated Timberwolves (15-1) recorded its first loss in Vienna on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked UBC St. Polten (12-3) 96-89. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Timberwolves. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. UBC St. Polten dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Timberwolves' 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international forward Martin Speiser (202-83) fired 29 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Lukas Boeck (184-89) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals.
