Important game to mention about took place in Moletai. Eighth ranked Ezerunas (14-14) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Telsiai (14-14) 87-84 in the game for the seventh place. Ezerunas players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Karolis Lukosiunas (196-97) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists. Guard Marius Pociukonis (189-82) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Erikas Kubilius (194-95) replied with 25 points and 4 assists and forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Telsiai. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ezerunas moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Telsiai. Ezerunas will play against Taurages (#9) at home in the next round. Telsiai will play against Ereliai Mazeikiai and hopes to get back on the winning track.
