There was no surprise when 12th ranked Kamp-Lintfort (3-15) lost at home to ninth ranked Salzkotten (7-11) 78-69 on Saturday. Kamp-Lintfort was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Matthias Finke (190-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 5 assists. Point guard Fritz Hemschemeier (182-98) contributed with 13 points and 4 steals for the winners. Michael Schmak (180-87) answered with 14 points and 8 assists and center Lennart Boner (206) added 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Kamp-Lintfort. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Salzkotten maintains ninth place in West with 7-11 record. Kamp-Lintfort lost their tenth game in a row.
