Twelfth-ranked Delikatesas (6-22) made lots of trouble for first ranked Vytis (25-3) in Joniskis on Saturday. The visitors from Sakiai managed to secure only two-point victory 79-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Vytis made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. Vytis outrebounded Delikatesas 45-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. Point guard Rytis Juknevicius (187-93, agency: Players Group) fired 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) produced 17 points and 8 assists and forward Rytis Biliartas (202-91) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Delikatesas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vytis have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 25-3 record. Delikatesas lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 22 games lost. They share the position with Palanga.
