The game in Frankfurt supposed to be quite interesting. Fourth ranked BBC Bayreuth (13-5) played at the court of 7th ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (10-8). BBC Bayreuth smashed Deutsche Bank Skyliners 96-74 on Saturday. BBC Bayreuth made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. BBC Bayreuth outrebounded Deutsche Bank Skyliners 31-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BBC Bayreuth have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Deutsche Bank Skyliners lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Wuerzburg. BBC Bayreuth are looking forward to face BG Goettingen (#15) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will play against Walter Tigers (#18) in Tuebingen and are hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
