A Bundesliga top team - Kapfenberg Bulls (13-4) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed ninth ranked UBSC Graz (0-17) 106-61. The game was mostly controlled by Kapfenberg Bulls. UBSC Graz managed to win fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kapfenberg Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to UBSC Graz's 28. Kapfenberg Bulls forced 24 UBSC Graz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a quality performance for American guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Marck Coffin (193-91, college: Idaho Coll.) accounted for 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Kapfenberg Bulls players scored in double figures. The former international Anton Maresch (191-91) came up with 22 points and French forward Matt Gamberoni (208-91, college: Trevecca Naz.) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for UBSC Graz in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kapfenberg Bulls have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-4 record, which they share with Gmunden. Loser UBSC Graz still closes the standings. Kapfenberg Bulls will meet at home Furstenfeld Panthers (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. UBSC Graz will play against Gunners Oberwart and hopes to get finally their first victory.
