Round 19 most important game was a victory of Raiffeisen Flyers Wels over 5th ranked Vienna 100-94 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Vienna. The game without a history. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 63.3 percent from the field and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels outrebounded Vienna 36-21 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Siyani Chambers (183-93, college: Harvard) contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Czech center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, college: Iowa St., agency: Interperformances) answered with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) added 20 points and 12 assists in the effort for Vienna. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 10-7 record. Vienna at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Vienna will play on the road against the league's second-placed Gmunden Swans (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
