Date: January 21, 2018
No shocking result in a game in Noerdlingen where seventh ranked TH Wohnbau Angels (8-6) defeated 10th ranked BasCats Heidelberg (4-11) 74-61. The game was mostly controlled by TH Wohnbau Angels. BasCats Heidelberg was better in second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TH Wohnbau Angels made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. TH Wohnbau Angels outrebounded BasCats Heidelberg 41-21 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Canadian forward Kim Pierre-Louis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Canadian guard Samantha Hill (178-94, college: Virginia Tech) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four TH Wohnbau Angels players scored in double figures.
