The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Dinamo as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dinamo smashed 6th ranked Politekhn.Lvov in Odessa 97-75. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-75.
