Medvode (#10) forced the game against Grosuplje (#9) into an overtime, but lost by five points 83-88 on Wednesday night. The game took place in Medvode. But the guests from Grosuplje were better at the end. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 22-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 9-4. The best player for the winners was center Matija Trampus (205-89) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Anze Vinazza (-94) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Five Grosuplje players scored in double figures. Grosuplje's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Luka Snoj (200-90) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 21 rebounds and point guard Dejan Buncic (177-77) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Grosuplje (7-9) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Plama Pur. Newly promoted Medvode keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. Grosuplje will meet at home higher ranked Parklji (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Medvode will play against Celje (#5) and hope to secure a win.
