Regular Season Round 18: Muenchen OSB - Jena II 75-71

Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Jena II (4-12) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Muenchen OSB (8-8) 75-71 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Justin Smith (201-87, college: Hawaii-Hilo) with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Moritz Schneider (189-99) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Muenchen OSB moved-up to sixth place in South-East, which they share with Ansbach. Jena II lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. Muenchen OSB will face Rosenheim (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Jena II will play against Topstar and hope to win that game.
