Leader Elchingen recorded the fifteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Wuerzburg (5-13) 89-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Wuerzburg. Four Elchingen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Garrett Jackson (201-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) with 22 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Miles Jackson-Cartwright (190-92, college: Pennsylvania) scored 21 points and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Elchingen maintains first position in South with 15-3 record. Loser Wuerzburg keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Coburg. Elchingen will meet Bayer Giants (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wuerzburg will play against Titans and hope to secure a win.
