Regular Season Round 16: Sloboda Tuzla - Kakanj 87-84

The most exciting game of round 16 in the Division I took place in Tuzla. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Kakanj (9-5) to eighth ranked Sloboda Tuzla (6-8) 87-84 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kakanj. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 19-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Sloboda Tuzla made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American power forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Serbian center Ljubomir Campara (205-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) chipped in 15 points. Sloboda Tuzla's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Aldin Muflizovic (200-92) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and international point guard Adi Zahiragic (187-95) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Five Sloboda Tuzla and four Kakanj players scored in double figures. Sloboda Tuzla maintains eighth position with 6-8 record. Kakanj at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Bosna-Royal. Sloboda Tuzla are looking forward to face league's leader Zrinjski HT in Mostar in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Kakanj will play at home against Siroki Primorka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
