Regular Season Round 17: Sf.Gheorghe - Satu Mare 87-62

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sfantu Gheorghe. Leader Sf.Gheorghe faced second-ranked Satu Mare. Host Sf.Gheorghe (16-0) smashed guests from Satu Mare (10-5) 87-62. The game was mostly controlled by Sf.Gheorghe. Satu Mare managed to win third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sf.Gheorghe have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-0 record. Loser Satu Mare keeps the second position with five games lost. Sf.Gheorghe will meet Cluj Napoca (#5) on the road in the next round. Satu Mare will play against Alexandria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
